Mitch,

Thanks for visiting the site...I think. I did read what I was posting, but I suggest looking into the facts a bit more.

Take a look at http://tvbythenumbers.com/category/ratings/top-news/cable-news It shows not only the total viewers, but by age groups. Nielsen only monitors total viewers, and the key groups 25-54 and 35-64 groups. So unless Olbermann is talking out of his ass again, which wouldn't surprise me, you'd imagine he's referring to the 25-54 group.

Lets take a look at August 27th (the newest date available as of this posting):

The first number is total viewers, the second is 25-54 and the third is 35-64. Make sense?

Countdown w/ K. Olbermann– 1,199,000 viewers (276,000) (614,000)

So Olbermann is saying he has the most viewers in the 25-54 age group. Let's see what other shows have beaten him in this particular age group with 276,000 viewers:

FOX & Friends- 965,000 viewers (357,000) (665,000)
Glenn Beck– 2,544,000 viewers (762,000) (1,275,000)
Special Report with Bret Baier– 1,906,000 viewers (446,000) (860,000)
Fox Report w/Shep Smith–1,697,000 viewers (418,000) (743,000)
The O’Reilly Factor– 2,896,000 viewers (757,000) (1,281,000)
Campbell Brown- 1,243,000 viewers (337,000) (414,000)
Nancy Grace – 957,000 viewers (347,000) (514,000)
Hannity –2,402,000 viewers (691,000) (1,113,000)
Larry King Live—1,464,000 viewers (378,000) (623,000)
Rachel Maddow Show—1,112,000 viewers (279,000) (509,000)
On The Record w/ Greta Van Susteren—2,330,000 viewers (623,000) (1,011,000)
Anderson Cooper 360—1,280,000 viewers (343,000) (555,000)

So this makes a total of 12 other cable news shows that outperformed him in the "under 35" demo. 7 of those 12 were from Fox News. 4 were from CNN and one was even from MSNBC.

To clarify - Olbermann is a liar who changes the parameters to look better, and still looks like a fool when doing so. He isn't tops in ratings. He isn't even tops in the demo he cites for being tops at. He still isn't tops when removing the Fox News, or "fixed news" as he calls it. He widdles down more and still isn't tops in his own timeslot at 8PM, drawing 3rd place behind O'Reilly and Campbell Brown. Finally, to put the nail in the coffin, he isn't even tops on his own network, being edged out slightly by Rachel Maddow.

Is his new demo of viewers that he cites going to be people that can't change the channel from MSNBC? Or perhaps people named Keith Olbermann. That's about the only way his blathering will show up on top. And for the record, I don't watch O'Reilly, Hannity or any others on the list with the exception of recording Beck on my DVR. - Anthony Fuller

Wow. This is... uh... beyond a stupid post. Please read what you're posting. Let me break this down for you...

I hate to intrude with the facts but ours is the highest rated cable news program viewers 35 and younger and the highest rated cable news program for all viewers not on Fixed News.

You make his second point for him. His first point is that based on the ratings, viewers 35+ are watching Fox News. Under 35, however, (as is stated in what you quoted above) are watching MSNBC.

I hope you're just a very elaborate troll. 7/10 - mitch
