In spite of all the proof, Keith Olbermann refuses to accept the truth. Olbermann keeps going off about how wonderful his show is while lambasting the also partisan Fox News. In his latest tirade, Olbermann claims to have the highest rated cable news program - period.
This is just a continuation of the ongoing feud between Olbermann and well...everyone with a shred of sanity. His anti-Bush rhetoric was so over the top, and now with the tables turned, he is continuing the same style, only with a pro-Obama slant.
I hate to intrude with the facts but ours is the highest rated cable news program viewers 35 and younger and the highest rated cable news program for all viewers not on Fixed News. And since Fixed News has since now migrated completely over to serving propaganda to tin foil hatters, conspiracy theorists, paranoids and racists it is not a news organization making this show the highest rated cable news program, period. - Keith Olbermann, August 25th edition of Countdown
Hmmm...really? Those damn Neilsen ratings! I wonder what the ratings were the previous night...
The O'Reilly Factor - 3,440,000 viewers
Hannity - 2,937,000 viewers
Glenn Beck - 2,810,000 viewers
On The Record w/ Greta Van Susteren - 2,450,000 viewers
Special Report with Bret Baier - 2,066,000 viewers
Fox Report w/Shep Smith - 1,860,000 viewers
Countdown w/ K. Olbermann - 1,114,000 viewers
Larry King Live - 1,063,000 viewers
Looks like Olbermann had less viewers than Fox News at 8PM, 9PM, 5PM, 10PM, 6PM and 7PM. In fact, he was 746,000 viewers less than the lowest Fox primetime show! What makes things even more amusing is that Olbermann used the bit to take a swipe at Fox and O'Reilly and then complained that O'Reilly didn't know the Toledo Mudhens were a AAA baseball team.
Sorry Keith, you were a second-rate sportscaster, and are now a second-rate "journalist" too with the attitude of a sore loser. Going by your logic, my website gets more hits than any other websites...if I get rid of all the "fixed" sites and simply compare myself to other sites named Anthony Fuller. You are a perfect example of what is wrong with society - Our kids can't win, so we lower the bar and make them feel good about themselves.
Update: Please see my comment below regarding the argument that Olbermann wins the under 35 crowd. It simply isn't true and he comes in 13th place overall, 3rd in his 8PM timeslot and 2nd on his network. Ouch, statistics hurt I guess.

I hate to intrude with the facts but ours is the highest rated cable news program viewers 35 and younger and the highest rated cable news program for all viewers not on Fixed News.
You make his second point for him. His first point is that based on the ratings, viewers 35+ are watching Fox News. Under 35, however, (as is stated in what you quoted above) are watching MSNBC.
I hope you're just a very elaborate troll. 7/10
